I booked with Derek at 316 Hair Haven during our belated honeymoon and first anniversary trip, and I’m so glad I did! As a curly girl from Texas, my hair needed some serious TLC in the Hawaii humidity. Trusting someone new with curls can be tough, but Derek went above and beyond. He helped even out a bad layer from a previous stylist and gave me a beautiful color that held up through the rest of our trip—swimming and salt water included! Derek gave me a wonderful haircut. Don’t trust many people with my hair. Took off the right length and styled it exactly as we talked about. Would highly recommend. 👍🏼
This place is exceptional! Derek is a very kind soul that clearly is passionate about what he does. He took care of all my needs when it comes to hair styling. Next time I’m in Maui I am definitely coming back!
Catalina did an awesome job washing, cutting, blowdrying, and styling my hair. She’s so knowledgeable and gave me a ton of helpful hair tips! She was very intentional in everything she did. I also loved that she took interest in getting to know me and was great with conversation—easy to talk to and friendly. She did exactly what I asked. 10/10 recommend!
