The Emergency Department has 12 rooms; eight cardiac monitored rooms, two trauma rooms, one observation rooms and one general treatment room. The Emergency Staff are well trained; certified in Advanced and Pediatric Life Support along with Trauma Care. They strive to deliver high quality care to all populations. The staff also deliver care with a personal touch, high in compassion.

Took my 8 year old here who was having a severe allergic reaction. Her eyes had started swelling and she had hives forming around her mouth, despite benadryl. Unfortunately, this was the closest facility to us. We waited to see a Triage nurse for over 30 minutes, with only 2 people in the waiting room, they took the other patient back first. Apparently this facilty runs on 1st comes 1st serve and not severity of illness. We left, lesson learned, should have just made the trip to Bronson in the first place.

Absolutely horrible. We were advised by a physician to take our child to the ER because they didn't have the resources to check what was wrong. The physician at the ER was barely in there one minute with him was completely dismissive of anything we had to say, simply said he had an ear infection and sent us on our way. After a trip to Parkview Hospital, we found out he actually had pneumonia. We will never go back to this hospital again.
