Do not use "Dr" Metcalf! I hired him to do a pre-purchase exam of a horse. He did not even listen to the horse's heart. The horse was immediately diagnosed with a heart condition when I brought him to my usual (very competent vet) after I purchased him. If Dr. Metcalf had told me that the horse's heart was racing (which is what it does with this condition) it would have been a red flag for me and I would NOT have purchased the horse.
