I had a dodgy tyre on my rental car and pulled into Thredbo Service station for advice. Callum was amazing - he examined the tyre, found a nail in it, and very kindly helped me change it with the spare, giving me helpful advice along the way. Thanks Callum!!
How much !!!!! And no 98. We drove back to Jindabyne and had a breakfast and fuel up starting from there. Kinda feel they think they have a captive market....but could be a little gold mine with better attitude and all
Make sure you get full tank in Jindabyne. Overpriced. Paid for 10L, end up getting way less than that, probably 7L to 8L. I'm very obsessed with range and mark on the dashboard with my car, that 10L did not reflect the range nor the mark on fuel tank. Everything outdated.
This is a very small older style BP at Thredbo. Being a resort village in a remotish location the price of fuel and goods is phenomenal. The petrol bowser malfunctioned and could not accurately determine the cost of our fuel. We agreed what we consider was a reasonable price. Only go here if you desperately need fuel and only purchase the least amount you need to get yo the next service station.
My car had a flat battery and was parked 250m away. He wanted $220 for a jump start! And he was very rude. In the end Mazda sent out the lovely NRMA contractor and it was free. Avoid this place at all costs!
