We would like to share our recent experience with Thrasher Sales and Leasing. Brought in our truck and needed def injector replacement. Was recommended after market part and was never told it was lack of warranty. We went to Florida and few months after purchase the part FAILED. We went to Chrysler Dealer and told truck inoperable without replacing def injector (yes the one we had just replaced at Thrasher’s) WE had to pay $1000 US to replace. It is with a heavy heart I write this review. Dealing with thrashers was one of the worst experiences I have yet to date when it comes to used cars and service . A friend of mine bought an escape from them roughly a year ago, just to have the paint on the hood flake off. When the issue was brought to their attention, Wes Thrasher in particular tried to pin it on Fords, as if it was a manufacturer defect. I have been to every dealership in Windsor and amherstburg and have never experienced the level of service I received from Wes. He made purchasing my new car easy and I didn’t feel pressured at all. He Took the time to go over each car and even went over all the features of the car I purchased. Would recommend to any family and friends!
The service I received today was appalling and unacceptable. As a young professional, I came in to buy a car and after waiting for 10 minutes with no one in the show room coming to see me, it was only after I turned up their music that someone finally came out. Without any words, I was told to come back in 20 minutes, even after explaining I came from Windsor. He said we should have called?!. Brought car in to fix as per warranty. Paid for Dyno assessment. Sure we can fix the car. Next day "come and pick up the car. We don't want to do the work". A garage that doesn't want to fix the car. That is under warranty. Perfect.
