If I could leave a zero I would. Thousand Acre Farm kept $7,400.00, of our money and we got nothing in return. The wedding was postponed due to Covid, we were only offered a new date into the next year and they arbitrarily added an additional 15% fee "for the new pricing". We contacted an attorney and was told 6 other couples were using his firm to sue for the same reason. I continued to leave messages for Susan because the phone was never answered. I asked if she would at least return the last check I sent. I had just sent ... read more

We attended a wedding at Thousand Acre Farm and the venue was amazing. The farm, views and location is breathtaking. I have to mention the sunset over water was so beautiful. The staff were very attentive to everyone and also help parked the cars as we arrived. I recommend this venue to everyone who is looking for a unique venue and location.
We had my daughters wedding here this past weekend (October 13, 2019)and everything was fabulous! Working with Sue Henson was like reconnecting with an old friend! She was very accommodating, answered every phone call, and made us feel like our event was her top priority! The grounds of course were amazing - that goes without saying! We just held my god daughters wedding st Thousand Acre Farms yesterday! It was a beautiful wedding! Beautiful venue, right on the water! The staff was great! Chris Hynson, the event manager, was there through the whole event. If I needed help or something done he was so accommodating. The grounds and the view are breathtaking. If I could give 0 stars I would. These people are unprofessional, abusive crooks. They require you to buy their overpriced "drink package" and do not provide anything they say they will provide, from custom cups, to mixers to skilled bartenders. Our bartenders couldn't pour a glass of wine never mind mix a drink and they were underage! There were NO mixers and no cups! The positive reviews are LIES! All social media BS!
