I have a Gladiator used for fun, taking newbie groups out to teach them and to use for recoveries. I run 2 basic model Thor twin cylinder compressors and I am NOT careful with them. They can run longer than they should, can run air tools and just get worked. I have aired up 5 vehicles in one group without issue. That said, I have did some damage a couple times and Thor's Lightning has been there to help me out and get me what I need to get back in service. Thanks Guys
I haven’t used my new compressor yet, but I’m very impressed with the Customer Service. I’ve received from Thor. I purchased a hard wiring kit and wanted to use it somewhat differently than the average hard mount. I spoke several times with Derek and went through my application with him. He was incredibly helpful and so responsive. I only gave a four until I use the compressor, but I’m sure it will live up to my expectations as did their service!
I had my compressor for almost a year and had an issue that blew the 80 amp fuse and one of the cylinders became very noisy. I contacted service and had to send a short video and they sent me a replacement immediately. Awesome customer service. Up to that point the compressor and run flawlessly for running my truck on board air. Love my Thore even more!
We purchased the Thor Lightning compressor kit several years ago now and it's been amazing! The manifold tool to air up and down in a flash has been so helpful. We left it on the bumper when airing down, and lost it, but the customer service team was awesome in getting me all taken care of to get another one on order.
I built a full kit and ended up ordering the wrong mounting bracket and the wrong wire harness. Sent them an E mail over the weekend then called Monday morning and left a message. They very promptly responded and were very understanding of my mistake. Gave me the address to return it to. Very nice guy and there was zero issue to return the items. I havent used the system yet but will be in the next week.
