My husband and I stayed in cottage #2, Teal Cottage, for 5 nights. It's a great location, close to many restaurants, shops, and the waterfront, but a block off the main street so it was very quiet and private. Very comfortable, lovely decor, gas fireplace, two bedrooms, smaller kitchen and bathroom that offered everything we needed. We are already planning our next trip to Door County and plan to stay at the Thorp Cottages.

My wife and I stayed at the Thorp House Inn & Cottages on September 3 and 4, 2025. This was our first time in Door County. It was our second stop on our trip around Lake Michigan. Thorp House is great. The historic house has an interesting history and is well appointed with appropriate decor. We could see the lake from pur room! We stayed in the Jessie Room, the two person jetted tub in the room was large and comfortable. Beds and furnishings were very comfortable. Breakfast was great. absolutely amazing stay! breakfast was an a+, house was beautiful, and fish creek was only a minute walk away. wouldn’t pick another place to stay in the area after this round.
