Appalling experience. Went to buy a car, booked a test drive, on arrival car has a flat tyre and a flat battery. Asked when it would be fixed and was spoken down to and told they were not selling that car to us. Left us in a pickle as we genuinely wanted to buy the car and now need to look elsewhere. Didn't offer any timescale on fixing and when we could come back, no recommendations for other vehicles and just generally appalling service. Avoid this garage!
This is my 2nd review after giving Thornbury 5* for the purchase...after sales is easily another 5* ...after a week we had a couple of faults on the car...just one of those things...Paul, unlike some garages didn't say "that's not covered under warranty", he accepted the issues and even offered us a courtesy car should we need it...we can't fault this Garage and the service and quality of cars. We have just bought a car from Paul and all I can say is we had superb service. Very helpful and the purchase went smoothly. I would highly recommend. We travelled almost 2 hours ( 4 hours round trip) for this car and wouldn't hesitate to go back to Paul for the next one. Karen and Keith
Recent purchase of a Ford Fiesta from Thornbury Car Centre. Outstanding service and support from them and in particular Paul who couldn’t have done more in resolving a small after sales issue. Having bought cars mostly from main dealers I would have to say the service was as if not better. Buy older cars is always harder but I would buy again with confidence from them.
A bit disappointed with these guys after always buying cars from them including my family. Wouldn't even exchange my car 15 plate for an older car, (need an older and lower car for my dogs) not helpful at all, have always been happy with them until now. Wouldn't think about going there again.
