This vet has terrible communication. We scheduled an appointment for a dental cleaning for our dog. After MULTIPLE miscommunications via phone and texts, we finally brought her in for the appointment and the ladies at the counter told us that we shouldn't follow the instructions in the texts, those are just sent out automatically. RecommendedMy girl Evie was there recently there for surgery and was taken excellent care of. My family and I are actually going to switch the remainder of our animals there for vet care because of how well she was taken care of.
Thornapple always takes wonderful care of our fur babies....and us, too! We had to make the heart wrenching decision to put our dog to sleep this morning, and they were so sensitive and supportive! I couldn’t ask for a better vet office
Today, our rescue kitten, Sigrit, was seen for the first time. I was so worried that she would be so stressed out when she came home after being around strangers. She has been her normal self since coming home after her visit and that, to me, says a lot. Thank you so much for taking care of our kitty, letting us know what is wrong with her eye and having the proper treatment on hand!
They are just the best with our family of pets!!

My dog is pretty sure she just goes here to visit human friends. They give her shots with snuggles and pets so she never even realizes the shots happened. They do a great job taking appointment times seriously, efficient and friendly. I recommend them and so does my Luna.

So far Thornapple has been pretty good to us, found out our cat is diabetic, and they have been very helpful with getting her stable and providing food for her special state. Prices are also reasonable, and they have late hours for those who work 1st shift. Edit: found out thru another vet that my cat needed better insulin, the other vet also supported us home testing for glucose and we ended up getting her better before her body broke down with time.
