I write this review to raise serious concerns about Thomson Geer’s conduct in proceedings where I was a self-represented litigant. Despite being notified that a materially false affidavit had been filed on behalf of its client, Thomson Geer took no corrective action. This affidavit formed part of the record in superior court proceedings and was relied upon by the judiciary. I contacted Thomson Geer 4 years ago, expecting a simple quote and direction during an initial meeting. I provided no documents, no detailed information—just a brief email. At the 15-minute meeting, a partner-level lawyer made small talk without offering any real advice. Then they sent me an outrageous $3,000 invoice, claiming it included preparation by a junior lawyer—which was clearly false, as there was nothing to prepare.
