Great helpful Doctor. Very informative
The staff are so friendly and helpful and I love Dr. Thomsen's approach which is no nonsense and caring.
I had cataract surgery last summer and paid extra fees for toric lenses to correct my astigmatism. It was corrected in my strong eye but failed in my weak eye which was set for near and intermediate vision. I had lasik 25 years ago so that made it more difficult for Dr. Thomsen to decide which implants to use. I should have opted to keep my near vision in my strong eye since that’s what I was used to all my life. Dr. Thompson did both my sister's eyes a few years ago and she could no longer read. They had folds and his answer to her was you take your chances. He was hurtful and rude to her. She was not a trouble maker and loved to read but she couldn't anymore. I am sure someone with more compassion could have helped her.
