The guys engineered and supported the roof to remove 2 connected internal load bearing wall, one span of 6m. It’s been nearly 2 months and the whole thing only settled by a couple of millimetres and one door needed sanded to stop rubbing after everything settled - This is an enormous win in my opinion to have such a tiny amount of movement after such a huge structural change, and testament to how they engineered and carried out the job. Jason, Brian and their team were employed to remodel our lounge room including putting up a wall and installing French doors. They also put a roof on our pergola. This was the second time we have used Thomsen Builders and Carpenter's. They are our go to for building work because of the high quality of their work and professionalism. They have always been responsive to our enquiries and have made us feel at ease during a disruptive period such as renovating a house can be. We highly recommend these builders.
