I took my car to Thompsons after hitting a kangaroo. They were quite polite and helpful when I first bought it in but that's where the service stopped. I was told someone would quote the damage by the end of the week. 3 weeks later, damage was still not quoted and after trying to call them repeatedly I was rudely informed that it just wasn't done and that was that.
