Just left Thompson Speed and Marine with my boat. Matt took the time to go over all the details of my boat and not only tell me what they were but educated me on how they work, what to look out for and how to boat safely. I chose his shop because of proximity but even if I move to Temecula - I will drive down to El Cajon because I want him to be the only one to touch my boat going forward. Thank you Matt!
HIGHLY recommend! Matthew went above and beyond in helping us fix our motor. When other mechanics said it would take a lot of time, would be very pricey, and couldn’t help us for a week-2 weeks, Matthew helped us immediately after calling in and fixed the problem in 30 minutes. He was kind, professional, and we will be coming here for all boat/engine related issues going forward.

Had him check out my boat when I first purchased it. He charged me a bit extra to "go through everything" but never provided me a list of things that were a concern (even though there were a few). While servicing the outboards, he broke the latch for the motor. Not a big deal, they are older, it happens. He apologized and said he already ordered the latch but it wont be there when I pick the boat up.
