We were guests at this lovely hotel 8/3-8/6 (Sunday-Wednesday.) I booked a corner, river facing room, for my wife and I. The room is impeccably appointed from the furnishing, down to the little touches like bath robes in the restroom for guest use. The room came stocked with a variety of snacks and beverages (alcoholic and non) available for purchase. Decided to stay over at The Thompson during our recent weekend trip to Savannah. Loved the location which is right next to the river with a nice riverfront park and few Adirondack chairs to sit and enjoy the outdoors. The only downside with the location I would say is it’s about 25-30 mins walk to downtown Savannah but it’s in the new part of the city.
