Stay far away from this hotel. I already paid for my stay, yet I was still hit with an additional $230 in hidden charges, including valet, state tax, city tax, and other random fees. For the price they charge, this place does not feel like a five-star hotel at all. The shower never got hot and the water pressure was terrible. The AC in my room barely worked, and after checking reviews, I saw that I’m not the only one who had this problem. Hotel layout - 4/5. Lots of well thought-out art, I liked this very much. Lots of seating areas in the lobby. For a 5-star, it’s much smaller than what I imagined. In the middle of the lobby there is an awkward staircase that’s closed off to guests unless you’re visiting the restaurant. You’d pass by this closed staircase every time you’re walking through the lobby. There are two doors close to each other, and the lobby narrows into the elevators so you can’t miss them.
