The Thompson family has been in the auto and RV business since the 1950s. Thompson Bros. opened in 1952 selling Hudson and Nash automobliles. The gradual shift from autos to RVs began in the 60's when Sid Thompson became the local dealer for Aloha travel trailers. This was a natural fit for the family, as they spent most of their leisure time camping and picnicking in the mountains of Eastern Oregon. most of what you read about thompson rv isn't wrong, but that's not to say there isn't people working there that will ruin the experience and make you walk away. after working with a salesman, learning about outdoors rv from the manufacturer and getting the warranty information straight, two days before making the drive to pickup a new trailer the entire deal was killed by the antics and unprofessionalism of a guy named burton. The people at Thompson RV are solid good people. They will go up and beyond to make sure you are happy with your purchase. They have people from all over the US coming to them for RV's there is a reason for that. We have purchased two RV's from Thompson RV and could not be happier!!!
Dishonest Service The RV was billed, paid, and "services complete" after two full business days in their service department. There were two main issues to be addressed and a summary service. The plumbing issue involved a pipe leak behind the toilet. The thermostat and cooling/fan issue was stated as fixed. After pickup, the issues persisted. Upon our first hookup on vacation, the leak behind the toilet immediately flooded the bathroom. The AC would not operate for more than 3 mins before the breaker would switch off at three... read more
These people are rude, inconsiderate and do not care for their community. Buyer beware.
We just got done buying roof vents on our way to go camping that had disintegrated. The guys helped us install and were phenomenal. Thank you so much!
