I don't know Dr. Thompson, but after I came down with Hashimotos, my brother went to a health food store and asked if she could help him find supplements that would help me. Central Peninsula Hospital notified Dr. Thompson several times that Medicare would no longer cover his patients’ lab fees, because he is not enrolled. He did not think it important enough to notify his patients of this fact and sent me off for blood tests in June and July. Imagine receiving a bill from the hospital in August for $3494. He won’t do anything to make amends and didn’t apologize. Dr. Thompson also calls other physicians stupid and liars. I should have run the other way long ago.
A couple years ago Dr T changed one of the meds I was taking. Over the next couple years I was extremely exhausted all day long. I told him at every appt and he bumped up thyroid meds. It didn't help. Finally I looked at the side effects of this medication and one of the top side effects was extreme exhaustion. I asked Dr T to please provide a new prescription to wean me off of it.
