I reached out on Friday afternoon to Tom from Thompson Plumbing to repair a toilet leak. We ended up having to replace the toilet, took less than 2 hours including the time it took me to go buy a new toilet. He charged 700 for less than 2 hours, where as the regular rate is 200 hour. He never explained that the rate would be 350 an hour. He claimed it was after hours but their site says their hours are 9-5. Very unethical behavior. I would avoid these guys. I had my sump pump replaced same day service. I had silicone around my sump pump basin cover because of the radon system I had put into my home. Tom did a nice job with the sump pump replacement and re-applied silicone around the base of the basin cover to seal it. Will use them again.

My wife and I, both seniors, woke up one morning to find that a 1st floor toilet in our home had overflowed during the night for no apparent reason, as no one had used it for many hours. Thompson Plumbing was recommended to us by a friend, and we called them. We explained the problem and our urgency to have it repaired because we had a house guest coming in two days.
