This review is for Thompson Pharmacy on 12th Street in Altoona. I have lived in several locations in several states and overseas. The service in this independent pharmacy outshines all USA pharmacies and it rivals the best UK pharmacies (they are all patient centered because there are no private insurers to muck up the works). I don't know how Thompson's does it with the complicated, private insurance profit centered system in this country, but they consistently provide exemplary, patient centered, service.
