Some of the above reviews are clueless. Maybe if in today’s culture everyone didn’t call off over 1 inch of snow or if it was actually possible to find people to work hours could be extended. Additionally, in most cases modern weather forecasting technology allows around a 1.5 week notice to prepare. Perhaps take some responsibility and accountability with ensuring you have the things you may need.

For those of us that live east of the pharmacy and work for a living the hours here are the most inconvenient hours of any pharmacy I have ever dealt with. Staying open until 6pm would really be a help.
We've been using this pharmacy for a few months. We moved to the area from State College last year. People in Penns Valley are mostly quite kind, and this pharmacy has a reputation for friendliness. Precisely for that reason, I was taken aback by the impolite reaction to my name from one of the ladies who work at Thompson Pharmacy in Centre Hall (not a pharmacist, but probably a cashier of sorts).
