As a health care provided myself, I must say, I am very satisfied with the level of care and professionalism displayed by Dr. Tarabey and his team at Thompson Optics. I have referred several patients for scleral lens fittings and the results have been overwhelmingly positive. Went in for scleral lenses (for both eyes) as I was recommended by my optomerist. Flawless experience, first appointment had everything necessary knocked out the way. Second appointment had my own custom fitted scleral lenses and I could see again! I want to thank Dr Tarabey for the excellent work he provides to my patients I refer to him. As a contact lens specialist, he consistently does outstanding work with scleral lens fitings, even for the most challenging cases. It has been a life changing experience for my patients. I’m truly grateful for Dr Tarabey.
I went there because they were recommended for sceleral lenses for keratoconus. I booked the appt, drove almost an hour, had my appointment, only to be told that sceleral lenses would work for me, and most of his clients were worse than me. Still had to pay the $300 fee for the 10min appointment though. Went to another optometrist in Spruce Grove who has been more than helpful. My vision is amazing qoth sceleral lenses. Glad I didn't give up after this failed visit. Always get a second opinion
