I don’t ever really spend time writing a review but I had to after what I paid for last night and the little amount of food I received. I ordered Uber Eats and got the rigatoni and the orecchiette. Both were $31 each. When I say I opened my bag in disbelief.. the two smallest containers of appetizer sized portions for that amount. I’m appalled. Was it good? Sure but would I go back? No.
Awesome place for wine and pasta. Just had a most inspiring lasagna in my life.
We had a fantastic dinner at Thompson Italian. There were four of us, and we shared a bottle of wine and a fresh, flavorful panzanella to start. I ordered the squid ink bucatini, and it was absolutely delicious. We also tried a couple of desserts, and every bite was excellent. We arrived around 4:15 p.m., not realizing they didn’t open until 4:30, and we didn’t have a reservation. Been many times, will continue to patronize this establishment. After every course (and drink) you will find yourself saying "That was delicious, I'll have another!" The negative reviews are obviously from people who think al dente is someone's name.
