Please be aware that this physician doesn’t respond well when parents, especially strong and intelligent moms, disagree with his plan. If you go up against him there will very likely be repercussions. He was the main reason my child and I lost all faith and trust in Luke’s years ago, but I was too afraid to speak out until my child was well beyond the pediatric years because of the position and the power he holds within the hospital. The golden child, one who can do no wrong. Be very careful if you’re referred to him and you... read more

Dr Thompson is such a caring, kind and down to earth doctor. Our daughter had GI bleeding for two months and he listened to our concerns immediately. Despite being understandably scared of putting her under anesthesia at only 4 months old he made us feel very taken care of. Without him doing so we wouldn’t have found out she had something more serious then CMPA. We are so grateful and appreciative of the care he has given her. We know we still have a road ahead of us but we 100% trust his care.

Dr Thompson is a nice, respectable guy. However, his treatment of patients is what ruins that for me. I met him in October 2019. He immediately scheduled me to get an EGD and colonoscopy. This made me hopeful, but when that came back negative he said it was mainly anxiety and didn't even try to help me. He also said that losing my menstrual cycle was a "nice little break," even though I was very malnourished. He didn't work on my case at all for 11 months and then accused me of having an eating disorder, despite my excruciat... read more

I really respected Dr. Thompson and his help with my son. I don’t like leaving a less than good review but Dr Thompson does not like to hear if you don’t agree with him. He labeled my Son with his diagnoses and now he is going to be stuck with it. He is a really nice guy but it would be good if he would think outside his box. Wonderful man but would have loved if he involved his patients parents in his diagnosis :(

Dr. Thompson is very thorough and knowledgeable and takes time to listen to his patients. He has been treating my son's eosinophilic esophagitis for the past four years, and has helped my son to thrive and manage his illness with a minimum of medications. He offers options for treatment along with his recommendations, and helped me to not freak out -- he's great!

Our daughter's tummy issues began as a toddler; she was 6 when our family Dr finally narrowed in on Celiac. We got a referral to Dr. Thompson. From first impression, Dr Thompson is the most down to earth physician we've ever met. He explained things in a friendly easy way & made the Gluten-Free transition much less stressful. When our youngest was about 2 & showing similar problems, Dr Thompson took him in & tested for Celiac right away (and man-to-man convinced my husband to get tested too!)

I have been with Dr Thompson for about 16 years now, he was the only Doctor that knew what I had when I developed my autoimmune disease. Hands down best doctor I've ever been with, he listens and takes good care of his patients. Would highly recommend him to anyone that is looking for a pediatric gastrointestinal.
