I wanted a brighter shade of red, which i was told it would be because my natural hair is light enough that it wouldn't really be necessary to lighten the hair. I went with black towards the roots and the red is quite dark that it mostly just blends and you can't see much if any contrast to the black. I understand the thought to not damage hair, but it was fully grown out natural hair that hadn't been bleached before, so I'm not sure why it would be an issue.
Este is an amazing stylist! Always has great suggestions and open to my ever changing thoughts on switching things up!
Awesome place! No use of curling or flat irons, or bunch of hairsprays- just hairdryer and brushes…as it should with professional hairstylist. Definitely going to return to this place!
