The place to be for your garden needs! I was looking for some ideas in what to do with our barren yard. It's a big place that has some vignettes there. They have a big selection on outdoor stone, gravel, brick and such. They also have mulch and soil for sale. You can see some fountains that they have and there's a building in the premises where you can buy some decorations. PROS: Great selection, reasonable prices, friendly staff, lots of parking CONS: crowded on weekends
Wow this really is your destination for backyard inspiration!!! Silverado combines customer service with excellent selection. You can find numerous plants, trees, and decorative lawn items at the nursery. I found lovely pink camillias. I purchased two and they're both blooming and thriving in my backyard. Stupid Be prepared for the most ridiculous setup any company could conceive. Drive to the design center, pick out the stones you like, then drive to a completely different building down the street to pay for them, then drive back to the design center to pick up your stones. WHAT??? How would this be acceptable at any other business? Do they not have the technology to take a payment where all the actual supplies are??? Mrs. Huge place, lots to look at. VERY expensive. They have several locations, but can't seem to beat the prices found at Double Ds in Norco on aggregate. Also more expensive than Lowe's or even Home Depot. Brick, fountains, etc. are also more expensive. One would think with their quantity buying, they could beat the small town guys. Cheaper to shop locally. Problem with service here, as well. The Best Place to Shop for Your Home I have shopped at Thompsons in Orange for many years, but the store in Fontana beats them all. I am happy with the service I get and the garden center has great prices and friendly people. I send my customers there and they always thank me for sending them to such a great place to pick out materials.
A great place to get ideas and shop This is a wonderful place to get ideas. If they had problems in the past they seem to be resolving them. I find the staff (garden center) helpful and full of ideas. I know the pricing is great,so what more can I say, but a wonderful destination point.
Thompson Building Materials in Fontana, CA The short of it - the inside staff is great, the outside garden staff is horrible! 1.We bought brick for a fireplace. The inside staff was knowledgeable and helpful. The people that take you out to look at the brick were okay. 2. We went back to buy some small yard statues. The manager in the garden area was rude and not helpful. They get the lowest rating possible!
Thompson Building Materials I love this place. They have building materials, water fountains and different pottery available. Plants for landscaping and BBq grills. They have some wonderful displays to give you ideas. Highly recommend.
good store my husband buys all of his building materials here. They have good fast service and the material prices are reasonable. Whenever he had to exchange or return he had no problems.
