I couldn’t have been more happy with the service from start to finish with David and his crew. As far as I’m concerned, he went above and beyond with all aspects of the process. In the end, I came out way better than trying to sell all of these belongings on my own. On top of that, his rates were less than anyone else that I investigated. My family and I would definitely recommend Thompson Auction Service and Real Estate Services! Dave was able to handle a high volume of material with various collections ranging from tools, antique engines and old iron to turn of the century radios and historical farm implement literature. He strategically divided the on site auction into multiple days and even used multiple simultaneous auctioneers to handle the volume. That all took a lot of planning and coordination. Shill bids YUP Screws the customer on shipping YUP Excessive Buyers Premium YUP Unreasonable shipping times YUP After only being able to purchase one lot at a reasonable cost I paid the $25 for 12 small coins weighing less than an oz and waited a week for them to send me a shipping invoice, I'm used to auctioneers who try to make a couple bucks on shipping so I was expecting a $7.00 shipping charge.
