Thompson and Son has always shown nothing it love and compassion. When my dad transitioned. They made everything so easy in preparing for his home going service. They are very professional. What in love most is thy care about families whom are hurting and they do all they can to make it easier .

Very nice and kind people working with you. I personally have not used them for immediate family, but I've had a lot of family member who have. Keep doing what you do to take care of people's loved ones

Look elsewhere for the service of your loved one. MY father had glue running down the side of his mouth, was swollen, and feet was wrapped in plastic because he was starting to smell. As if that wasn't enough, when lowering him into his grave, he was put in sideways and had to be readjusted. The services provided by this funeral home was deplorable. If it wasn't for him being put to rest in his hometown next to my grandparents, we would have had his body buried elsewhere. This place is disgusting in the way the treated our f... read more

$2,995 for direct cremation that can be had for $895 a couple hours away? What a ripoff in someone’s time of need! Looks like we’re having him sent to East Alabama, even with their extra transport fees and shipping the cremains it’s still half your price!
