I have not seen a better doctor than this one in over 15 years. It's a shame he retired.
Dr. O’Brien Has been my pulmonologist for the last 20 years. I’m a nurse and I appreciate doctors that are knowledgeable. He not only has a great bedside manner his diagnostic capability is unsurpassed. I drive over an hour each Way for an office visit. My husband is also under Dr. O’Brien’s excellent care.
Dr.Obrien came highly recommended for my Sister who was Found to have a huge mass in her left lobe. a very frightening diagnosis. dr. O'Brien ordered A Pet Scan and scheduled Her for biopsy of the mass. He was very professional yet compassionate and attentive.He has practiced for over 40 years and has not lost his ability to be patient and compasssionate to his patients. I called his office to get the results and I left a message, he called me back in like 2 minutes and made apt. To come in.
AVOID! AVOID! When you have a cold and need to see a Dr. at the last minute, that is the ONLY time a nurse practitioner is needed. The Pulmonary Disease Specialists PA had me see a nurse practitioner, not a real doctor. A specialist is NOT a nurse practitioner, otherwise they would be a doctor--THIS IS A NO BRAINIER!. My primary Dr. sent me there. The nurse practitioner did nothing. Why? Because she is a nurse practitioner. IS THIS CLEAR ENOUGH? Billed the insurance as a specialist (not a nurse
Dr. O'Brien and his whole staff have always demonstrated what I consider to be the absolute best service of any physician's I have ever been to--anywhere/any time !
