I hired James for an unusual case and he was superb. He listened...REALLY listened, then he asked questions, presented multiple options and allowed me to make the decision on the course of action. Once I did, he methodically prepared prior to court. He compiled evidence, established timelines and culled the information according to how pertinent and impactful it would be. I recently was wrongly charged with DUI. Being young, dumb and broke I was stuck representing myself as I was not eligible for a public defender. Some how I ended up in front of Me. Valente. He read over my case in less than 15 mins and found a piece of information that ended up getting the three most serious counts of the four I was facing dismissed.
