Finally, a stylist who actually understands curls! If you have curly hair, you know the struggle of leaving a salon underwhelmed. After 15+ years of living on the UES and being disappointed by countless "curly hair specialists," I finally tried Taft Salon and booked with Kenya. Best decision ever. I don’t normally write reviews, but Kenya is too good not to share. UES and Midtown East curly girls, do yourself a favor and book with her immediately. She is the real deal!
I’ve been coming to Thomas Taft for years. I got a Cezanne Keratin treatment and haircut from Ranne this time and he did a wonderful job! Everyone is so friendly and it is such a welcoming space. I always refer friends to this salon and they all become returning customers too! Highly recommend
I’ve lived in NYC my whole life (50 yrs) and have never found a hair salon that I want to return to again and again. Kenya gave me a cool layered cut which is not easy with my thinning curly hair and I feel renewed!
