I’m giving this company **2 stars** because while the awning itself appears to be well made, the experience surrounding the measurements and final installation has been frustrating. We contracted for an awning approximately **31 feet long**, but after adjustments were made in the field, the finished installation ended up noticeably shorter than expected. We contacted Thomas Awning to get a quote for a pergola installation. A representative came out to assess the project and told us we would receive a quote within a few days. Unfortunately, it has now been 3 weeks, and we still have not received anything. We have followed up twice by email but have not received a response. The initial visit went well, but the lack of communication and follow-through has been disappointing.
Had a standing seam awning created for my backyard. I enjoyed collaborating with the sales lead, Ben Walters. I was given a couple of options and a competitive price (solicited two bids). The work was completed in the time frame given. I love the end product and the fact it was crafted custom in Richmond, VA.
