Extremely horrible bedside manner. I went with my husband for his procedure. When Schlueter walked in, we did not get greeted or simply even acknowledged. He didn’t even wait for the numbing to kick in and started immediately. My husband felt everything in the beginning, including the burning from being cauterized. I asked my husband if he was in pain and he said “yes”. The dr then asked “You can feel that?” With no apology following. Schlueter has the worst bedside manner of any one Ive ever met. He was dismissive and talked over my father when he was trying to explain what his concerns were. He shoved some pamphlets in front of my Dad and said to look over them and he will be back. He left us to discuss what to do next. When he came back he was just as cold and dismissive as before. It was overall a horrible experience.
Dr. Schlueter is kind, professional and thorough. I had a good outcome after seeing him and appreciate his expertise. I would recommend him and wouldn’t hesitate to see him again.
I would give zero stars if I could. My husband and I had a horrible experience with Dr. Schlueter. It was the end of the day and it seemed like this doctor just wanted to go home. He didn’t even wait for my husband to be numb before he started cutting (vasectomy). Just please find someone else if you don’t want to be traumatized and have psychological issues after the procedure.
