I underwent an emergency transplant in 2020, the height of the pandemic. Dr Schiano was the doctor who took my case. He is the most knowledgeable, thoughtful doctor. I feel so privileged and safe under his care. He is a great listener, teacher and specialist. I am thankful every day for him. Just yesterday he again spent time listening and helping my husband and I understand an approach to my care. He never makes you feel rushed, but heard. I feel so well cared for.
Fr Schiano is the best doctor I have ever been a patient of - and there have been many! He listens and digests questions and personalizes his answers. He is friendly, knowledgeable, and a great communicator. I have complete confidence in the decisions he makes relative to my care.
