Finished building a rental in 2024. Still scarred from the experience with these guys. My original review seems to have gone missing
I was recommended to invest in a new development site in Woongarrah, mostly built by Thomas Paul, through a boutique wealth management company and honestly, it’s been a terrible experience for me and others I know who did the same. Land settlement took from ~2022 to late May 2024. Then it was in the hands of Thomas Paul who completed the build in August 2025. Being new to a build experience, I had a really underwhelming experience with Thomas Paul. They were recommended to me but I would tell anyone else to avoid, especially if you don’t live nearby to check on it regularly in person. I managed to start and finish another build in the time it took waiting for the completion of this property & my reviews are polar opposite (granted some of this time was across covid so I completely get things are outside their control). The worst and dodgiest company in Australia. I have been working in epoxy flooring for a long time, fully licensed and experienced. I received a job request from this company to complete two projects in the Toowoomba area. I travelled from the Gold Coast — a two-hour drive from my home — to get these two jobs done. But until 5:00 pm I was still waiting for the key to the second house. Everyone kept passing me around, and nobody was responsible. The way they treated me was unbelievable.
