I’m a retired lawyer. I went to Mr. Michaels on a referral for an estate plan. After he put in minimal work to produce some documents, on a call to discuss he told me his efforts were to be a courtesy and non-negotiable, and if I wanted to leave certain conditional gifts his documents didn’t accommodate that and I should create additional accounts (I.e., he was not going to put more work in to find solutions).
