30 years ago I went to Dr. Mundorf who is one of the most intelligent people I've ever known and funny! Now I rediscovered him and he's clearing up all kinds of medical issues without giving me the referral run around that I was getting at other places!
Never ignore a cough when it comes to the elderly. Well, this doctor did when it came to my 82 yr old dad...for almost an entire year. Told him it was fine, couldn't find anything wrong with him, etc. My mother had to demand he get test and chest xrays. Took him almost a year to finally give my dad a referral to a pulmonary specialist. Doesn't matter anymore tho because he's been in the hospital for 3 weeks now.
