I had a phone call from the nurse telling me Dr. Meinema was on maternity leave and I was asked if there was another GYN that I’d like to see. I told the nurse “any doctor that will let me have a hysterectomy or tubes tied without the permission of my husband” Dr Meinema would not let me do those things without consulting with my husband first.
