Five stars. Thomas helped me write a will & trust and set up an LLC to make my house a rental property. Now, I will stand on anybody's coffee table and testify to his talent, integrity and get-'er-done attitude. He is an honest dude and a capable attorney. If you need a good neighborhood lawyer, he's your guy.
Thomas is a spectacular lawyer. As another lawyer in the community, working in the same practice area, my experience is that Thomas is smart, no no-nonsense, and a very effective advocate for his clients.
I highly recommend Thomas! I had been going through a high-conflict custody battle for years. I had a few attorneys over that time - all of them were good. This last time I went to court I decided to try a new attorney, Thomas, and I am so happy I did! Thomas came highly recommended and I'm glad I listened. He is really smart and very down to earth which made it easy to work with him. He was brilliant in the courtroom too. I would absolutely trust him again!
I only give one star at all because he did draw up the petition (that we paid for!). However, Thomas McElroy dropped the ball many times over and my divorce has taken probably 8 months longer than necessary because of his mistakes/laziness. DO NOT RECOMMEND HIS SERVICES.
My divorce was incredibly stressful. My spouse refused to get served divorce papers and was such a nightmare to deal with. Thomas McElroy was incredible. Not only was he knowledgeable, thorough, and persistent; he also was kind and understanding of the emotional impact of what I was going through. I am now happily divorced, I got everything I asked for, and I have recommended him to friends of mine who are going through the divorce process. I would never go anywhere else for family law matters.
