I had a telehealth appointment with Dr Tocher when I had a high fever a few weeks ago. We did talk about my recent surgery, he said it was an old surgery, I said it wasn't that long ago and it's not healed yet. He told me to stay home, take tylenol, and watch rom-coms, presumably because I'm female. Sexist. I ended up in the ER and was hospitalized on IV antibiotics for 3 days because it was an infection of the surgical incision. I only went to the ER because a family member insisted. Dr Thomas M Tocher MD saved my life by having a CAT for my diverticulitis scan all the way up to my underarms, because the scan found a lung cancer that was at the very beginning of cancer stage 1 a1. I will never be able to thank him enough! I had no idea but because he ordered that scan I have many more years of a healthy life!
Dr. Tocher has been my doctor on and off for many years and I just want to point out that he is a very caring person and listens to his patients!
