Thomas Amato Co. was an absolute pleasure to work with. They refinished my 1930s Art Deco credenza. This 90+ year old piece of furniture was dark, scratched, veneer missing in many places, etc. The finish was left satin smooth, the color revitalized, the wood grain shiny and clear, door hinges repaired and the finished product is absolutely beautiful. Thomas Amato Co. did an excellent job restoring an antique table for us. The table, a well-loved but battered family heirloom, had scratches, dents, water stains and was missing pieces of trim. It came back looking better than ever. Amato was a pleasure to deal with, including when it came to scheduling, pickup and delivery. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

EDIT: Amato Co re-repaired the piece and now it's in excellent condition!
The Amato team communicated poorly throughout the repair process, repeatedly pushed back the estimated delivery date, and ultimately returned an heirloom in worse condition than at the start.
