Dr. Wilkins was new to us until a few years ago when he diagnosed my son with meningitis. We were unable to get into my son's normal doctor and called Gashland to see if they had availability. After reading my son's symptoms and performing a thorough physical examination, he immediately diagnosed my son and sent him to Children's Mercy. I greatly appreciated his sense of urgency and expertise; since everything he said was accurate. My son has been going to him since then.
My husband and I started seeing Dr Wilkins just after we married 18 years ago, and when we started having children he became their doctor as well, even seeing them in the hospital. We have always been very pleased not only with his care but also with his kindness and thoroughness and advice when we requested it. Whenever someone we know is looking for a doctor we tell them about how much we love Dr Wilkins!
This doctor has treated my family, including an elderly parent, for years. He is thorough and I highly recommend him.
