I had to leave early in the "lockdown" due to outbreaks of covid in the Kernodle clinic (nurse wouldn't wear a mask). Fast forward to 2026: I tried to make an appt. and was told that I had to have a referral. My insurance does not require a referral, the doctor has access to my diagnosis, and he knows me. My PCP's office does not have time to send referrals, and I don't have the time to call back and forth, and wait an hour to get the "referral" that my insurance doesn't require.
