I took my mother-in-law a ways to see Dr. Kirk, our second opinion after another arse-neurologist in the community blew us off. He spent a long time talking with us an explaining his thoughts and reasoning. He talks fast and we're farmers but he didn't talk down to us and when he thought we missed something he said it again but differently and drew on his exam paper. He faced us and had a medical transcriptionist in the corner so he wasn't looking at his computer the whole darn time. He made a plan, ordered a few tests, and ... read more
