Saw provider inpatient. He wanted me to have pacemaker. He lied regarding my pulse rate, as I had informed him of my adult pulse rate for 50 years. He lied and said it was much loswer than that . He insisted it was in the 20's numerous times. I then agreed. After surgery, I found out 2 weeks later that he had sent the unit at 50, and that my pulse was only once in the 30's and Never in the 20's. I saw Dr. Sawyer for a period of over 7 years. He is far and away the best cardiologist I have ever worked with-and I have seen many over the past decade.
I liked Dr. Sawyer very much... Very compassionate doctor...
I had a hard time finding a cardiologist I liked, that explained things to me and made me feel secure about what was going on with my heart. I was very impressed with Dr Sawyer. He had an easy going bedside manner, was thorough and explained things to me properly. I am very happy I was referred to him. highly recommend him.
