Dr. Purgett seems sincere and is very pleasant; however, after two surgeries to repair an inguinal hernia with no explanation as to why neither worked I am really confused. I followed his instructions and didn't go back to work after either one for at about 8 months. I have an appointment with another doctor in another group because Dr. Purgett seemed reluctant to try again since he had already tried both methods. I asked the office if I could see someone else in their group. Not their policy.

Dr Purgett Removed my gallbladder and was very informative on what he was going to do and post surgery explained everything he did to my satisfaction, A very nice person!
I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Purgett and his office staff! He explained my surgical procedures in a very informative manner which left me with no questions. Probably one of the finest doctors I have ever dealt with. He came out and briefed my wife before and twice after my procedure in the hospital. Bed side manners are A+. Schedule your next surgery with him, you'll be glad you did.
