Excellent physician. Takes time to explain, doesn't jump straight to surgery. I'm very pleased with my surgery and it's results.
I saw Dr. Fox for knee pain. I was referred by another surgeon who does not do replacements. He sent a personal message to Dr. Fox, describing my unique situation. I mistakenly assumed I would be treated with caring and compassion. Instead I was told I need to lose 30 pounds (not the issue, I can handle the truth) and to get help to do it. I completely agree with the 2 other posts. DR Fox is the best Ortho DRI have talked to and gone to see. The way the staff acts and treats the patients since he moved to SSM is horrendous. I personally give DR Fox all 5 stars, he performed both my Knee Replacements and I am in need of most likely both Hips replaced. However, I am almost ashamed and downright frustrated because I know dealing with the staff is going to be a nightmare. I will call today 1/31 and keep you guys posted. This office makes appointments for you with doctors who do not care for you but send you to appointments with other doctors in the office who don’t do what the previous doctor sent you to them for. In turn, they send you to another doctor in the office , ( that’s three appointments so far) and that doctors says they are the wrong dr for that problem and sets you up with another doctor in the office, still no care for issue at hand.
