BEST DOCTOR EVER! He truly cares & researches his patients. I’ve been battling a rare condition for 6 years now and Dr. Perkins has been helping me when no other doctor or specialist would prioritize my situation. My husband has even seen him on lunch break at the gym and saw him studying and continuing to learn more to help even more people. Anyone who does have a 5 star rating for him, prejudged him. Get to know your doctor!
No bedside manner. Doesn't listen to you. Explains nothing. Not very friendly or has a friendly demeanor. Just looks bored of life.
In response to the other reviews.... some of the most intelligent and caring people are not good at making eye contact. My daughter does the same thing. I've been seeing Dr Perkins for over 20 years and he's a good doctor. He also will not write a script just because you want it. Clearly this wouldn't be the case if he didn't care.
He was straight forward in the appointment but never once made eye contact. Almost seemed as if he was purposely not looking me in the eyes. He seemed cold at the time. Almost as if he was in a fog and didn't care. He did everything he was suppose to. Wasn't rude but felt like something was off about his behavior. I'm not sure if maybe he is going through a tough time. I am coming back because everyone deserves a 2nd chance. I just hope whatever it is that seemed to be on his shoulders is lifted.
