Disrespectful. I went for ADHD testing and his assistant couldn't even save my test properly. When I got on the telehealth call to discuss my results, he could NOT get past the fact of knowing my weight. Said "Would you tell a medical doctor your weight? Yeah, you would have to because you would be forced to get on a scale." This is just one example of the many patronizing, condensing, and narcissistic comments he made during my visit. After insulting and belittling me, this man had the audacity to tell me that I was the one... read more
Awesome doctor. Give it a couple visits to build a rapport, you won't be disappointed. He's not a pill pusher -- he actively suggests various vitamins/neutraceuticals/lifestyle changes instead of piling on extra medications or higher doses. He knows his stuff, believe it.
He is a pill pusher...and if you have no need for a prescription he basically dismisses you. He is very self absorbed boasting he is the best in his field...LOL...After talking with me for 10 minutes and finding he was not going to prescribe any meds he just dismissed me...unprofessional
I love Dr. Fain and have been seeing him for a few years. He's extremely knowledgeable on psycho-pharmaceuticals and will happily (and thoroughly) explain how the medication works. He is always prompt, bubbly and pleasant to talk to. I have learned so much about myself and the world around me from him. He is a gem of a doctor and his staff is wonderful.
He's good, but has a habit of rejecting people that he doesn't feel like treating. I stopped by on a referral for medication management. He promptly suggested changing my medications. When I tried to explain that, while I was open to a med change in the future, right now was really bad timing, he refused to work with me further and provided no refills. It's a real good thing that I have enough medication for me to make an appointment elsewhere or I might have ended up hospitalized this month.
He's so knowledgeable and his office staff is wonderful!
